This sale consists of:

• 1 x FlatRacer BMW /5, /6 & /7  (70-84) & Monolever BLACK crash bar set

This new set of chrome crash bars/engine protection guards is a very sound investment, it will protect extensively your pride and joy should you be unfortunate to fall or the bike gets knocked down by careless car drivers. 

Made of sturdy steel, powder coated in black for durability of finish, complete with all the necessary zinc plated fittings and stainless steel fasteners.

This type of split crash bars was originally designed for the RS/RT models although it fits nearly all Airhead Boxers (apart from R45/65 Series, Paralevers and GS derived models). 

Fits all the BMW /5, /6 & /7 models including the R90S made between 1970 and 1984 plus all the Monolevers models made after 1985.

Very easy to assemble and fit as it quickly clamps to the main frame and to the engine front mounting stud (longer type required, see below).

OBS: Please note that this kit will NOT fit the R45/65 Series (78-84), the GS/ST models and the later Paralever series (R100 R & Mystic).

OPTIONS:

1 - M12 stainless steel long front engine stud complete w/ nuts & washers, required to fit these bars in place.

IMPORTANT: 

1 - This crash bar set requires the use of a longer front engine M12 mounting stud (330mm long). If you require a new one, we can supply an excellent replacement stainless steel stud complete with washers and nut at extra cost. Please contact us for more details.
