Shipping costs
We endeavour to find the best price/quality of service from our carriers and will pass any discounts to our customers.
Because of the nature of the parts we sell and the huge variances in weight and size (for example, fairings which are fairly light yet take a lot of volume or rear sets kits or a pair of brake discs, which are packed in a small box but are quite heavy) plus the often combined shipping we do for our customers, our automatic shipping costs calculator may not provide the most accurate quote for combined order, especially for overseas orders.
We strongly recommend our customers, especially from Overseas, Islands (Cyprus, Malta, Balearic, Canary, Corsica, Isle of Man etc.) and other remote locations, to contact us before placing an order to obtain a shipping quote and a pro-forma invoice from us. If postage already paid and excess paid or underpaid, we shall contact you prior to shipping.
Please note that some items or orders, due to volumetric weight (our carriers use several different formulas such as multiply length, width and height in cm then divide by a given number to obtain the volumetric weight in Kilograms) may incur additional shipping charges from our carriers due to volume size or weight, especially so with International Freight.
Please do contact us prior to placing an order if you have any doubt about the size or the weight of your order, we will be more than happy to assist you.
Delivery schedule
Orders are processed throughout the day. Delivery within UK is usually made within the next two working days on fully stocked orders placed before 14.00h GMT. Otherwise, we hope to get your order (if it includes custom made) to you within five working days. International orders may take slightly longer., we will inform you of the particular details.
Our carriers operate from Monday to Friday. UK Saturday delivery can be arranged at an extra charge.
Loss or damage whilst in transit
When you sign for a parcel please inspect it carefully. If you have any reason to suspect it has suffered in transit mark the delivery or acceptance note "damaged in transit" before signing. If possible, please provide us with digital images of the damages.
Claims for damages or shipping shortage must be made within 2 days (48 hours) from receipt. Keep any damaged goods in their original packaging and keep the original shipping box and packing materials in which the damaged goods were received. This is essential for us to recover any losses from the carriers. Failure to do so will invalidate any successful claim.
Please remember that parcels are insured only up until the point that you sign for them - we cannot claim for a damaged parcel if you have signed for it as undamaged. If your parcel does not arrive at all we have to establish our claim with the carriers concerned before we can send a replacement consignment. This can sometimes take a little while, and if your part is needed urgently a second order may be placed. One of your orders will be refunded as soon as the carriers clear our claim.
