Our newly designed forward set kit, integrating the famed Tarozzi foot pegs and pedals. It features our own developed stainless steel and bronze linkages plus all the necessary stainless steel fasteners, nylon and stainless steel spacers, rose joints.
Our Forward Sets allow to position the foot pegs forward for more comfort plus it allows to keep pillion pegs (matching Tarozzi pillion pegs available).
This kit features our own developed stainless steel brake levers and pivot plus a high quality self lubricating phosphorous bronze bush. It also includes our specifically developed and produced chrome steel linkages plus all the necessary stainless steel fasteners, rose joints/rod ends and nylon spacers.
OPTIONS: The kit is supplied as standard with the M10 fixed alloy pegs with a satin silver knurl finish. We can also supply this kit with the fixed pegs with rubber inserts (matt black pedals) at no extra cost. Please indicate if you prefer this option at the checkout.
OBS: Please note that this kit requires the use of your existing LH pillion peg bracket. If required, we can supply a brand new one at extra cost.
Bolt on fit, to be used with your existing gear lever and brake rod linkage and clevis pin, either short type for the rear disc brake master cylinder or the long rod for the rear brake drum.
IMPORTANT:
1 - These Forward Set foot pegs fit on the frame's rider pegs mounting lugs. In order to mount the LH foot peg, it requires the use of one of your existing original pillion peg small offset mounting bracket (shown in our photos for illustration purposes, NOT included in this sale). If required, we can supply it at extra cost, please contact us for more details.
2 - Our gear change remote linkage rod is bolted to the original BMW kinematic short gear lever using the supplied M6 rose joint/rod end. For some BMW models, this may require re-drilling to 6mm the original gear lever or removing its original M6 ball joint. Please contact us for more details.
3 - Our gear change remote linkage rod will not allow the use of the original kick start pedal (rare option). You will need to use the electrical start. However, if you wish to retain its operation, some of our customers managed to mount the gear lever/linkage rod, peg lever upside-down but further modifications and adjustments may be required, including to the exhaust system.
4 - Kit designed to fit only the later /7 Series (81-84). It will NOT fit the earlier models as the frame mounts are different. Other options available, please contact us for more details.
