FlatRacer BMW Airhead Boxer R2v /6 and /7 Series (1973-84) compact size stainless steel battery tray, a design based on the original, large size battery tray but re-scaled to suit the smaller, more modern gel/AMG compact batteries such as the truly superb Hawker Odissey PC680.

Built entirely in 1.5mm thick stainless steel plate (304 grade) so corrosion proof, carefully CNC bent and TIG welded for a superior finish and build quality.

It includes a stainless top retainer plate, M6 stainless steel knurled retaining nuts, penny & wave washers. 

We can include brand new five (5) BMW OEM short silent blocks and all the necessary stainless fasteners as an extra option.

For models fitted with rear brake disc, we can also include the original BMW silent block with the longer stud for the rear brake master cylinder on rear disc equipped bikes at extra cost. Please see options box.

1 - Battery tray only

2 - Battery tray w/ 5 x short M6 rubber bobbins + s/s fasteners (rear brake drum models)

3 - Battery tray w 4 x short M6 rubber bobbins + 1 x M6 long M6 rubber bobbin + s/s fasteners (rear brake disc models)

Identical s/s cages are also available for Monolever models and for the /6 & /7 Series fitted with the large, original sized batteries. Please check our other listings.
