This repair kit include an heavy duty black vinyl replacement seat cover, with the pleated type pattern that suit the cowl dual seat first seen on the BMW R100 RS 3/4 solo seat (also know as seat n' half).

It also includes a accurate replica of the original seat foam for this seat, injected with the correct density, not too soft for comfort, especially on long journeys.

This particular seat was first introduced with the 1976 BMW R100 RS and was designed by Hans Muth (along with the body work, with help initially from the Stuttgart University Wind Tunnel and later with the use of the rented Pininfarina Wind Tunnel). It was subsequently offered for other /7 models as a popular if somewhat expensive option.

Very useful cover and foam kit that allows you to restore the original seat, keeping your bike's authenticity. This is a rare and sought after seat nowadays as most rusted quite badly and easily cracked or broke their cowls.
