Very similar performance to the iconic 336 sports camshaft as fitted optionally to the BMW R90S and others.
The 336 cam offers a much sportier profile than the standard 308 cam, with excellent mid range punch and a smooth, linear power delivery through out the rev range without sacrificing low engine speed tractability
Ideally suited for those riders that wish to have a Fast Road type bike, with an outstanding mid range power delivery and torque, especially useful for overtaking.

- Lobe separation angle: 110
- Inlet open 52 BTDC
- Exhaust opens 104 BBDC
- Inlet closes 92 ABDC
- Exhaust closes 64 ATDC
Particularly well suited when fitted with the Dell'Orto PHM pumper carburettors. Please check out our Conversion kit.
Available for the BMW /5, /6 & R90S made up to September 1975 and for the later /7 & Monolevers manufactured after September 1980.
Please carefully check your engine type (it is quite common that these have been swapped in the past) and select your model on the options box or contact us for further advice.
NB: Please note that pre-September 1975 models require a later oil pump inner rotor (included for these earlier models).

2 - BMW post September 1980 (electronic ignition front canister)
IMPORTANT:
1 - We strongly recommend that you check very carefully your existing camshaft followers for wear and pitting. If worn, these should be replaced as otherwise they will cause premature wear to the camshaft. Please check our other listing for the new Lightweight cam followers.
2 - Fitting this cam will require new front engine cover gaskets, oil pump o-ring and camshaft front seal. If required, we can supply these at additional cost. Please do contact us with your requirements.
3 - This camshaft is only available for the /5, /6 & R90S models made up to 09/1975 and for the later, post September 1980 models. It will NOT fit other models.
