Special stainless steel tool designed by us to facilitate the removal of the two end caps fitted to the BMW R2v Airhead Boxer typ 247 36mm forks, fitted to the /5, /6, /7 Series & R90S motorcycles made between 1969 and September 1980.

Quite often these threaded caps are quite tightly screwed in place and fairly difficult to remove unscathed without proper tools.

Our tool has been designed to fit firmly on these cap side key notches and effortlessly remove these without damages.

The tool is designed to be operated with a 1/4 drive tool has has provision for an extension bar/wrench retaining spring ball so it does not fall off.

Designed to remove the original retaining thread rings/caps, BMW reference 31421232046 (item 8 on the diagram, last photo).

NB: Drive 1/4" tool and fork parts NOT included in this sale. Shown for illustration purposes only.
