Our new BMW Urban Trail kit, designed to convert all the BMW R2v /7 Series (1976-1984) into something more comfortable and practical around town yet still be stylish.
This BMW Urban Trail basic kit comprises:
- FlatRacer BMW TIC Single seat
- Rear 5" or 6" stainless steel mudguard, pre-trimmed, drilled to fit (please state your option)
- Fork brace kit, featuring the 5" stainless steel short mudguard
- FlatRacer TIC rear luggage rack - black
- All the necessary s/s fasteners and rubber bobbins & washers
The Urban Trail kit includes our new single seat (TIC spec) featuring an incredibly sturdy and corrosion proof fibreglass seat base, a nicely shaped seat foam with the correct density, an heavy duty vinyl seat cover, dual skin with hot pressed pleated patterns (reduces the ingress of water) and for added bling, we have integrated some side polished alloy trims (not cheap plastic). This seat includes an OEM type stainless steel locking spigot and s/s front and rear hinges (unlike any other replica seats on the market), making this conversion a simple bolt on job.
To complement out TIC replica seat, we've included our newly developed luggage rack, made of sturdy steel tubing, double walled for the mounts so incredibly strong and sturdy. Powder coated in black for long a lasting and durable finish. Complete with all the required stainless steel fasteners and fittings.
We have sourced an attractive and durable stainless steel rear mudguard (5" rounded or 6" in width with a flatter centre) that is pre-trimmed and pre-drilled to fit the BMW R2v /6 & /7 Series frame (six point fixing as per the original rear mudguard). In additional, we supply our own fork brace kit featuring a nicely matched 5" s/s short front mudguard.
OPTIONS: We offer two options for the rear mudguard length, standard (circa 120mm rear overhang, past the rear most point of the sub-frame) and long type (circa 300mm rear overhang), please see the options box.
