Our ever so popular rear set kit, integrating the famed Tarozzi foot pegs and pedals. Their quality is outstanding, not only fr its exquisite alloy castings but also for their unique feature of having a removable steel insert and a M10 high tensile steel stud going through their pegs, making incredibly stable and sturdy, unlike cheaper copies.
This rear set kit features our own developed stainless steel brake levers and pivot plus a high quality self lubricating phosphorous bronze bush.
As these BMW early /7 series models (73-78) have 5 speed gearboxes featuring a directly connected gear pedals, unsuitable for the rear sets remote linkage operating mechanism, we include in this kit our own stainless steel kinematic short gear lever for a straight fit. Please contact for more details regarding fitting.
It also includes our specifically developed and produced chrome steel linkages plus all the necessary stainless steel fasteners, rose joints/rod ends and nylon spacers (including for the engine rear mounting stud to replace original rider's pegs).
OPTIONS: The kit is supplied as standard with the M10 fixed alloy pegs with a satin silver knurl finish. We can also supply this kit with the fixed pegs with rubber inserts (matt black pedals) at no extra cost. Please indicate if you prefer this option at options box.
Bolt on fit, to be used with your existing brake rod linkage and clevis pin. We do sell separately a high quality replacement stainless steel rear brake drum linkage rod assembly including rod, clevis, pin, lock nut, rear trunnion and adjuster. Please see our other listings.
IMPORTANT:
1 - These rear sets fit on the frame's pillion peg mounting holes or can be mounted using the original pillion peg small offset mounting brackets for more scope of adjustment. These would require shorter linkages rods. Please do contact us for more details.
2 - Our gear change remote linkage rod will NOT allow the use of the original kick start pedal. You will need to use the electrical start. However, some of our customers managed to mount the gear lever/linkage rod, peg lever upside-down but further modifications and adjustments may be required, including to the exhaust system.
