This sale includes:

1 x FlatRacer BMW /6 & /7 replica fibreglass glossy BLACK fibreglass side panels (pair)

Accurate replicas made of sturdy fibreglass of the original crack/break prone mould injected plaster/fibreglass original side panels fitted originally to all BMW /6 (73-76) and later /7 Series (76-84).

Made of strong and sturdy fibreglass with a glossy black gel coat. Carefully produced and hand finished, with fairly smooth inner faces. Requires only minimal preparation (light sanding) prior to primer/painting. Special attention was given to the surface and smooth edge finishes.

It includes a pre-fitted metal bracket on the inward face to slide the original holding rubber band (not included).

Fits all the BMW /6 and /7 Series models as originally intended but can also be fitted without modifications to the earlier /5 (70-73) Series if required.

It can be fitted with minor modifications to the later Monolever models (post 1985), useful for special projects (see above pic of our R80 Monolever project fitted with these side panels).

IMPORTANT: 

1 - These side panels are notorious for being lost and damaged as their fitting is precarious at best, relying on  four (4) frame tabs that are often damaged or missing and a rubber band connecting the two side panels under tension. We strongly recommend that you drill two small 4mm holes to allow the fastening of plastic ties to the sub-frame. Please contact us for further advice.
