FR BMW Euro type chrome handlebar
FlatRacer BMW Euro type chrome 22.0mm medium rise handlebar
FlatRacer BMW Airhead Boxer Euro type chrome 22.0mm medium rise handlebar
We've developed this replacement handlebar specifically to work with the R90S cockpit fairing including those bikes fitted with bar mounted brake master cylinders so it differs slightly from the original R90S handlebars by being lower (less rise), wider and offering more comfortable position for the wrist as it has less pullback.
Please see the photo gallery for comparison with the original R90S type handlebars (32711233126, superseded by 32712303042)
Not an exact copy of the Euro type handlebar first seen on European specification BMW /5 Series fitted with low handlebars but fairly close in dimensions and ergonomically designed for the best riding position and offering good clearances for bikes fitted with the S fairing, especially those fitted with post 81 front brake master cylinders. Excellent quality, sturdy and well finished.
- Total width: 700mm
- Total height: 70mm
- Rise: 55mm
- Pull back: 60mm
- Centre section width: circa 200mm
- Tube diameter: 22mm OD (perfect fit for the BMW switch gear and throttle unlike the 7/8")
IMPORTANT: These handlebars are made to our unique design and specification, using the correct 22.0mm tubing. This will ensure the original BMW switch gear housing and throttle will fit straight on, unlike the more common and universal fit 7/8" (22.2mm).
NB: Please note that this is a bulky item thus the higher shipping costs due to the volumetric weight. Please note that other smaller items can be sent for little or no additional shipping charges. We will very gladly combine shipping costs. Please contact us for more details.
A perfect fit for the bikes fitted with the BMW R90S cockpit fairing, including those fitted with bar mounted front brake master cylinder. Will also fit quite nicely all other BMW Airhead Boxer models originally fitted with low and medium rise bars. The RT models and US spec models fitted with high rise/level bars may require new control cables (shorter) or re-routing of control cables and electrical sub-looms.
