Commonly seen in the R69S and later adapted for the early BMW /5 and /6 Series, it can be easily fitted in the later post 1976 bikes (/7, Monolevers and Paralevers.

It will NOT fit R45/65 series. 

In theory the big fin area can help dissipate quicker the accumulated heat, especially important around the exhaust valve seat, the hottest point in any atmospheric engine and in particular air cooled engines.

Very good looks and actually easier to grip and remove using the proper exhaust wrench (please check our FR Heavy Duty Steel Wrench). An excellent replacement for the often damaged, broken and downright tatty nuts.

A small dab of copper grease on its threads is highly advisable for the sake of the poor soul who needs to remove it in the future.
