This sale includes:
- FlatRacer BMW Monolever fork stainless steel threaded top spigots (pair) including rubber o-rings
- FlatRacer BMW Monolever fork stainless steel top nuts (pair)
- FlatRacer BMW Monolever fork top stainless steel spigots counter lock spacers (knurled)
- FlatRacer BMW Monolever polished phosphorous bronze fork pre-load adjusters
- M12 black nylon spacers (pair) - stops abrasion and absorbs impact between fork springs and bronze adjusters.
The fork pre-load adjusters allow fine tuning for the suspension pre-load according to the roads ridden and riding style.
The FlatRacer BMW Monolever fork pre-load adjusters also replace the existing fork top spigots, nuts & top washers (often damaged and rusted) and the original plastic caps (often missing).
This kit represents outstanding value for money, with a significant saving over its individually sold items.
Fits all the BMW Monolever Series models, including the R65, the R80 and R100 models made between October 1985 and 1996 with 38.5mm fork stanchions fitted with threaded fork top spigots held by inner circlips.
Please not that this kit will NOT fit the early Monolever forks nor will the Paralever models such as GS, R100R and Mystic models.
NB: These fork pre-load adjusters will NOT fit the early Monolever models (September 1984 - October 1985) fitted with the M34 threaded fork top nuts. These will only fit the Monolever forks fitted wit the circlip held top fork spigots.
IMPORTANT:
1 - These fork pre-load adjusters sit higher on the top yoke so extra clearance is required with certain type of yoke mounted handlebars. Please adjust or replace the bars to suit this application.
2 - Fits all the BMW Monolever Series models, including the R65, the R80 and R100 models made between October 1985 and 1996 with 38.5mm fork stanchions. Will NOT fit the earlier Monolever forks with screw in fork top nuts (Oct 1984 to Sept 1985).
