FlatRacer BMW R2v Airhead Boxer /5 and /6 Series  & 7 Series (70-84) replacement ignition coil kit

Our newly designed FlatRacer BMW 70-84 ignition coil kit replaces the often tired and failing dual 6v original Bosch/BMW ignition coils and HT leads/spark plug caps fitted on the BMW /5, /6 and /7 Series made between 1970 and 1984 including the post 81 models fitted with electronic ignition systems.

Can be made to fit the early 1978-1980 BMW R45/65 models but modifications are required to fit our bracket/coil.

Our kit includes an uprated dual output 12v ignition coil with the correct resistance (can also be used with the electronic ignition systems fitted on the 81-84 bikes), HT leads and NGK resistor spark plug caps (5k ohm).

The kit also includes our own stainless steel bracket and short wiring plus the required stainless steel fasteners for a straight and easy swap and fit.

Considerable saving over the original items (+£200 for the pair of original Bosch 6v coils without including the bracket and fasteners).
