Tool set designed to easily and safely remove the clutch on the BMW Airhead Boxer models made between 1970 and September 1980 (heavy flywheel models). The clutch assembly is under considerable tension so this tool set is essential to safely remove the clutch without harm or injury.

Winged handles integrated for easier use and faithfulness to the original Matra/BMW factory tools.

To operate, simply remove three of the six retaining M8 bolts for the clutch assembly to the flywheel and insert/thread our tools, lightly tightening the long spacer nuts against the clutch face. 

Withdraw the other remaining three (3) bolts. 

Gently undo level and gradually the spacer nuts until all the pressure is released from the clutch. You can then extract the whole clutch assembly quite safely.

OBS: It will NOT fit the R45 & R65 models (78-80) nor the later post 81 models equipped with the lighter type flywheel.
