Universal fit ignition switch - 3 position
Very useful ignition switch with 3 position set up, supplied with 2 keys.
Usually set up for the positions works as
1 - Off
2 - Park ( can also be used for lights and other equipment such DIN plugs)
3 - Ignition (full live)
An economical alternative to the very expensive original ignition switches, especially the BMW Airhead Boxer types.
Requires a 19mm diameter hole so in order to replace the original BMW Airhead Boxer switch (22mm body), it would ideally be fitted with a plastic or metal sleeve/bush (NOT supplied) to suit the original headlight pegs/handlebar pad or the BMW fairing dashboard.
Some of our customers have fitted this switch using custom hand made brackets or even on the starter motor cover or seat lock mechanism.

IMPORTANT:
1 - Please note that this switch is universal fit, not designed as a straight replacement of the original switch.
2 - Re-wiring will be required and carefully setting up the different operation that can suit the switch 4 position layout.
3 - Some degree of knowledge of auto electrics is required. If not comfortable with this type of work, we would suggest entrusting the job to a competent auto electrician.
