MegaGold Cafe Racer exhaust silencers (pair)

Pair of high quality chrome steel reverse cone MegaGold tulip ended silencers, circa 18-1/2" long (470mm).

MegaGold Cafe Racer exhaust silencer featuring tulip shaped ends, with a design inspired by the iconic BSA Gold Star  albeit much shorter and narrower for a sleek and classic Cafe Racer look.

Inlet of 1-3/4", with removable perforated core baffle  complete with a multi reducer set. Inlet 1-3/4" (44.5mm). It will accept header manifolds from 44.5 to 38.1mm  (1-3/4", 1-3/8", 1-1/2").  

Complete with an universal 7" adjustable bracket. Outstanding quality. 

OBS: Please note that these silencers are universal fit. If fitting to the BMW exhaust manifolds, additional sleeves made of thin material (ie@ alloy strip) may be required for a perfect fit. The supplied adjustable brackets can be easily adapted and altered to suit many different frames.

One of the easiest silencer to fit on the BMW Airhead Boxer R2v twin shock /5 to /7 Series models as you can re-use the original BMW small angled bracket to suit but one of its holes may need enlarging for a perfect fit. Please contact us for more info and advice.

Reduced clearance around the original BMW rear brake pedal, further adjustments may be required.

IMPORTANT: These exhaust silencers are quite noisy and bear in mind that although these silencers have removable baffles and can be re-packed (we sell suitable sound deadening mats, please check our other listings), the scope for noise reduction is somewhat limited by the fairly narrow silncer body.
