This is a very period looking Cafe Racer seat designed originally to fit the BMW /7 Series (76-84) with a design and build based on the iconic Giuliari Sports single seat.
The original Giuliari Sports seat was a very popular option back in the Seventies, with innumerable riders fitting it instead of the more practical but somehow less attractive original dual seats. Giuliari seats were made in Italy and were renowned for their design, fit, comfort and quality.
Sadly, the factory closed doors few years ago with the advent of Superbikes and more modern machinery fitted with increasingly complex seats.
Although a single seat, some slimmer riders did manage to get a pillion onboard but obviously you need to know each other intimately well.
Our seat is a loose replica of the original Giuliari which also features a solid black powder coated metal base, steel zinc plated hinges with the required s/s fasteners and a correct BMW OEM zinc plated steel locking spigot fitted with the correct conical rubber stop.
The locking spigot offer a small degree of adjustment through its base sliding captive cage nut for a perfect fit as often the hinge pins or sub-frame are slightly distorted from 30+ years of use.
Unlike other replicas on the market, our seat is supplied with a proper polished side alloy trims, not cheap chrome effect plastic.
We lavish great care preparing these seats for sale, so unlike other seats on the market place, there are no unsightly glue residues nor loose seat covers. The underside is as neat as the top side.

Fits all the BMW /7, made between 1976 and 1984. Can also fit the R45/65 (78-84) and Monolever (85 on). Please read below.
IMPORTANT
1 - Can be made to fit the later BMW R45 & R65 models (78-84) and the Monolever models with minor adjustments. Please indicate at the checkout your bike model and year so we can ensure we will supply the correct seat.
2 - Although this seat can be made to fit the twin shock BMW R45/65 Series, please bear in made that it is slightly longer than its short sub-frame (by about 50mm/2") so the seat will overhang the rear mudguard/tail light.
3 - This seat will not accommodate the original rear tool trays.
