• 1 x FlatRacer BMW /7 S/RS/RT cowl dual seat replica s/s seat cover holing trim set (10 items)

We've developed and produced this set of seat cover holding trims, made of stainless steel 0.8mm plate to use on our own seats (see our other listings). 

These trims are often missing from previous repair or seat cover replacements and are quite hard to find in good, usable condition plus being zinc plated steel originally, also tended to rust notoriously.

This set is a direct copy of the original and fit exactly as per the manufacturers (BMW/Denfeld) specifications. 

Designed to fit the very popular and common dual seat fitted a separate cowl, first seen on the BMW R90S. This seat was later adopted for the /7 Series, usually fitted to the S, CS, RS & RT.

Fits all the BMW R90S & later /7 Series models equipped with the cowl dual seat. Please check photos.

This seat was commonly fitted to the later R90S (74-76) and later RS, S & RT models but this type of seat will fit any post 1976 to 1984 BMW /7 Series. Please look carefully at the above photos including of the seat and bikes commonly fitted with it and check that this set of holding trims will suit your seat.

Very useful item that allows you to restore the original seat, keeping your bike's authenticity.

IMPORTANT:

1 - Fitting these seat covers requires a certain degree of knowledge and skill. If you are not comfortable with this type of work, we would suggest entrusting the job to a competent local trimmer to you, versed in motorcycle seat repair work. If you need advice, please do contact us as we've built and repaired 100's of seats over the years and found all kind of challenges so we should be able to help.

2 - This set is fitted using 4mm or 3.2mm alloy (or stainless) rivets, which are NOT included in this sale.
