FlatRacer BMW R2v Airhead Boxer Monolever (post 1985) stainless steel battery tray, an improved and sturdier design based on the original battery tray. Built entirely in 1.5mm thick stainless steel plate (304 grade) so corrosion proof, carefully CNC bent and TIG welded for a superior finish and build quality.

It will fit all BMW Monolever models including:

BMW R65 Monolever
BMW R80
BMW R100
BMW R100 RT
BMW R100 RS (87 on)

It will accept a compact size battery or the more modern and powerful alternatives such as the Odyssey PC680 AGM battery or other similar sized Gel/Lithium types.

IMPORTANT: Please note that it will not accommodate the larger 25/30 amp batteries sometimes fitted to these bikes (original battery tray fitted with side spokes and retaining top/angle plate)

We can include at extra cost brand new fittings including the correct waisted M6 rubber mounting bobbins and pair of battery retaining straps. Please see options box below.

2 - Battery tray w/ 4 x M6 short rubber mounting bobbins incl. s/s fasteners

3 - Battery tray with 4 x M6 short rubber bobbins + retaining rubber straps (pair)

Identical s/s cages are also available for the R45/65 models (78-84), R80 G/S & R80ST and the /6 & /7 Series fitted with the original size or the smaller gel Odyssey PC680 battery. Please check our other listings.
