Particularly suitable if using different types of batteries or wish to limit or increase the output over certain distance. Increase the output if riding around town or drawing more amperage than usual through lights, spot lights, GPS, USB plugs, rider's equipment etc. or lower output for longer rides requiring less amperage thus reducing the load and protecting the charge system and battery.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR LITHIUM BATTERIES - These batteries require a very steady and narrow range of voltage charging, typically between 13.9 to 14.1v and can be easily damaged by voltage spikes. We recommend that you use a specific Lithium battery regulator using the latest Mosfet techonology.
