This sale includes:
- 1 x FlatRacer BMW /5 /6 & /7 (70-80) + R45/65 (78-80) ignition HT lead set w/ Beru 1k ohm metal caps (pair)
- 1 x NGK spark plugs (pair) - please state your model and year at the checkout f/ correct items sent
Period look ignition HT lead set, designed to fit all BMW Airhead Boxer /5 (70-73), /6 (73-76) and early /7 Series (77-80) plus R45 & R65 models (78-80), originally fitted with contact breaker (points) ignition systems, retaining the original coils.
Carefully produced and hand assembled and finished, complete with the truly excellent Beru 1k ohm suppressor metal spark plug caps, offering modern performance and yet retaining the classic period look from the early /2, /3 and /5 Series.
High quality unmarked (clean look) 7mm leads with 1mm copper inner core, circa 55cm (60cm including cap) total length. Fitted with excellent weatherproof silicone rubber boots and neoprene end sleeves for the coil.
Supplied with the correct NGK spark plugs for your bike (please state model and year at the checkout).
Fits all the BMW Airhead Boxer models mentioned above, still fitted with the original contact breaker ignition systems.
IMPORTANT:
1 - Suitable only for contact breaker points ignition systems.
2 - Will NOT suit the later post September 1980 models including /7, R45/65 and the later Monolever models (post 1985). Similar kits are available for these later bikes (5k ohm caps), please see our other listings.
