The BMW R2v /5 Series replica centre tool tray is a very useful item that allows the rider to carry tools, documents or even light waterproofs under the seat, just above the battery thus easily accessible.
Easy fit (and removal), it just simply slides in place by resting the front on top of the frame main centre tube and the rear on the sub-frame centre brace tubing.
Our FR replica tool tray is made of thick, sturdy fibreglass, further reinforced around the area where the original boxes always break (rear where it engages with the sub-frame centre brace). It is finished in satin black gel coat mimicking the original look and finish.
Very nicely made, with our usual attention to detail and finish. It comes pre-fitted with a useful rubber edging, similar in function to the original item.
No longer available from BMW and increasingly hard to find in good, usable condition.
Fits all the BMW /5 Series models (R50/5, R60/5 & R75/5), made between 1970-1973 including SWB and LWB versions (short and long wheel base).
