FlatRacer BMW R100 GS, Paris Dakar & R80 GS (87-90) stainless steel fork brace - UPPER front mudguard
Designed to fit the BMW R100 GS, Paris Dakar & R80 GS models made between 1987 and 1990 with Paralever rear suspension and higher mounted front mudguard fender.

Very sturdy and proven design, will enhance the road holding qualities on your BMW. This fork brace made of 4mm thick 304 grade stainless steel replaces the original flimsy fork stabiliser & provides substantial bracing of the fork legs. Increases the forks' torsional rigidity, always a weak point with older telescopic forks.
Accurately and carefully laser cut and CNC bent, paying special attention to symmetries and and parallelism, all important for the proper forks' alignment and function.
Unlike other similar braces on the market place, we did not introduce cosmetic cut outs in the material as it defeats the purpose of increasing torsional rigidity for the forks, an all-important factor for enhanced handling, especially with such long fork stanchions as fitted on the G/S models.
Made of very thick 4mm stainless steel (A304) with a mirror polished top surface, incorporating discreetly our laser etched logotype.
Complete with all the required stainless steel fasteners for a quick & easy installation.
