Our ever so popular rear set kit, integrating the famed Tarozzi foot pegs and pedals. Their quality is outstanding, not only for its exquisite alloy castings (LM25) but also for their unique feature of having a removable steel insert and a M10 high tensile steel stud going through their pegs, making it incredibly stable and sturdy, unlike cheaper copies.
This rear set kit features our own developed golden zinc plated steel brake lever and s/s pivot bolt/washers, nyloc nut plus a high quality self lubricating nylon bush. It also includes our specifically developed and produced chrome steel linkages plus all the necessary stainless steel fasteners, rose joints/rod ends and nylon spacers to fit between frame and pegs.
OPTIONS: The kit is supplied as standard with the M10 fixed alloy pegs with a satin silver knurl finish. We can also supply this kit with the fixed pegs with rubber inserts (matt black pedals) at no extra cost. Please indicate if you prefer this option at the checkout.
Bolt on fit, to be used with your existing gear lever and brake rod linkage and clevis pin. We do sell separately our own replacement stainless steel rear brake drum linkage rod assembly if required, please check our other listings.
IMPORTANT:
1 - These rear sets fit on the frame's pillion peg mounting holes. We do sell an alternative kit that allows you to mount the pegs more forward for the R45/65 models made after 1981 (FORWARD SETS, see our other listings) so you can retain the pillion pegs, if required.
2 - Our gear change remote linkage rod is bolted to the original BMW kinematic short gear lever using the supplied M6 rose joint/rod end. For some BMW models, this may require re-drilling to 6mm the original gear lever or removing its original M6 ball joint. Please contact us for more details.
3 - Our gear change remote linkage rod will not allow the use of the original kick start pedal (rare option). You will need to use the electrical start. However, if you wish to retain its operation, some of our customers managed to mount the gear lever/linkage rod, peg lever upside-down but further modifications and adjustments may be required, including to the exhaust system.
Fits all the BMW R45 & R65 models, made between 1978 - 1984 (twin shocks models). These will NOT fit the later Monolever or Paralever models (R100R, R100 Mystic and GS models).
