Top quality stainless steel set of exhaust manifolds with a single crossover pipe. Designed as a straight replacement for single balance pipe systems commonly found on pre-81 bikes. Tube diameter is 35mm (R45/65) or 38mm, available swaged at the ends for the 40mm systems (pre 81 R100)
Manufactured in the UK to the highest standards, it carries a 10 year guarantee, fits exactly as the original items with no modifications to mounting brackets, carburation or ignition. Noise output is comparable to the original exhaust header manifolds in chrome.
The set is polished to a mirror finish which has a close resemblance to chrome plating, however, once run, it will acquire an attractive and warm golden glow, typical of stainless and unlike the colder blue hue chrome produces when subjected to heat.
Very easy to clean and polish, corrosion proof and very long lasting.
Available in either 35mm (BMW R45/65), 38mm or 40mm
NB: Please note that the 40mm header pipes are actually 38mm tubing swaged at the end to 40mm - to suit BMW R100 RS/RT/S (76-80), with or without oil cooler.
