These were incredibly popular in period and a solid seller for Paul Dunstall and his organisation, enabling Paul to build a motorcycle spare parts & accessories empire back in the Sixties and throughout the Seventies. Paul later sold the business in 1982 which sadly closed later on, being its name only recently revived by a UK specialist. Paul dedicated his efforts after he left his bike parts business into real estate development.

Pair of high quality replicas of the ever so popular Dunstall megaphone exhaust silencers,  These are 26" long (660mm), feature a removable baffle and it will accept header manifolds from 35 to 41mm (1 3/8" - 1 5/8") by using the supplied adaptive collar sleeves. Complete with an universal adjustable bracket for ease of fitting. 

OBS: Please note that these silencers are universal fit. If fitting to the BMW exhaust manifolds, additional sleeves made of thin material (ie: alloy strip) may be required for a perfect fit. The supplied adjustable brackets can be easily adapted and altered to suit many different frames.

Alternatively you can fabricate mounting brackets made out of simple steel or stainless steel 2-3mm thick plate, cut, angled, trimmed and drilled to suit. Please contact us for more info and advice.

Reduced clearance around the original BMW rear brake pedal, further adjustments may be required.

IMPORTANT: These exhaust silencers are noisier than the original BMW silencers but bear in mind that these removable baffles thus re-packable. We do sell suitable sound deadening mat if you wish to further reduce the noise levels. Please check our other listings.
