1979 BMW R100 RT, transformed in a striking Cafe Racer, which we nicknamed "The Blaxer".

Quite a sound bike when we bought it but very tired cosmetically. It had 46k miles on the clock and the sweetness of the engine seems to corroborate.
So apart from cleaning, inspecting internals, decoking, valve lapping, there's was only need for some pushrod tubes in stainless, a new set of gaskets and a new set of piston rings just to be on the safe side. Obviously, all cosmetic components have gone through a complete refurbishment and transformation.

Incredibly sweet engine, smooth, torquey and not too loud, despite the Raask Roadster silencers.
