BMW R2v post 1981 Big Bore kit

The big daddy! Increase your 980cc BMW Boxer R2v engine to 1070cc, adding lots of power and torque in the process.

It includes a pair of new alloy Nikasil plated cylinders pre-fitted with stainless pushrod tubes, lighter forged pistons offering 9.5:1 compression ratio, piston rings, lighter forged con rods, big end shells, gudgeon pins and circlips, asymmetrical camshaft and all the necessary gaskets and rubbers to fit it on your engine.

Increases the real power to over 80BHP with a noticeable increase in the torque available, making for a faster, more tractable bike.

Please note that these kits are only available as a straight fit for the later Series /7 engines made after September 1980.

BMW R2v 1000cc Performance kit

Power kit to replace your existing 980cc engine cylinders on your BMW R100 with alloy Nikasil plated ones mated with forged, lighter (by 140gr) pistons and its rings, gudgeon pins and circlips. Available for all R100 engines, please state your engine number.

It comes complete with stainless steel pushrod tubes and all the necessary gaskets and rubbers to fit it on your engine. It will increase the real power to over 67BHP+ on the road models.

Compression of 9.5:1, it offers a noticeable increase in the torque available, especially at mid-range.

BMW R2v 750/800/900cc Performance kit

Power kit to upgrade your existing BMW 750, 800 or 900cc engine to 1000cc with alloy Nikasil plated cylinders, mated forged, lighter (by 140gr) pistons and its rings, gudgeon pins and circlips. Available for all post 1976 engines. Please state your engine number.

It comes complete with stainless steel pushrod tubes and all the necessary gaskets and rubbers to fit it on your engine. It will increase the real power on road models to over 64BHP+ or 60BHP+ on GS models.

BMW R2v extra capacity oil sump kit

The easiest and cheapest way to increase the performance and reliability of your Airhead engine.

Simply add another 1.3 litre of oil! The extra capacity will give time for the oil to cool more efficiently and keep its high lubrication properties.

Made of cast alloy in Germany, it includes all the necessary parts including two oil sump gaskets and fasteners.

NB: Please note that this kit will not fit the earlier models fitted with twin cross brace centre stands unless modified to suit (re-positioned re-welded).

Our newly designed FlatRacer BMW 70-84 ignition coil kit replaces the often tired and failing dual 6v original Bosch/BMW igntion coils and HT leads/spark plug caps fitted on the BMW /5, /6 and /7 Series made between 1970 and 1984.

BMW R2v High output diode board

Fits ALL BMW R2-valve twins made from 1969-1996 and comes complete with new wires and fasteners.
The High Output diode board has a massive heat sink for the large-capacity diodes giving even better cooling to ensure maximum reliability. The new red wire provides a low resistance path for the charging current to return to the battery, a frequent weakness on many aging machines.

This is the same diode board that comes with the 450w alternator kit, offering 33 amp over the stock 20 amp.

BMW R2v post 1977 Nippon Denso starter

Excelent replacement start motor, manufactured by Nippon Denso, fits all Airheads build after 1977 to 1996. well suited for performance-modified engines. The high torque planetary gear design DOES NOT use glued-in magnets for the motor fields.

Robust construction and rebuildable. it weighs 2.8Kg, nearly half of the original Bosch. It draws 80 amps of battery current instead of 120 amp draw by the original Bosch.

Brand new, direct replacement, no modifications required, complete with all necessary fittings.

The Odyssey PC680 battery is a Drycell AGM maintenance free battery, a powerful option to the original 25/30 amp battery (large and heavy) fitted to the BMW R2v /6 & /7 Series.replace the original equipment 25 or 30amp battery.

Much smaller and more powerful than the original battery, it offers 16 Ah @ 10hr rate, 220 CCA, 680 Cranking Amps for 5 Seconds, 24 Minute Reserve Capacity. Dimensions of 179 x 75 x 165mm and weight of 6.1kg, considerable saving over original item.

Complete with our stainless steel battery tray kit, designed as a straight replacement of the rust prone original. The famous 336 cam, offered originally by BMW in the Seventies as a Sports option, common fittinng on the iconic BMW R90S, outstanding mid range power without sacrificing excessively lower range tractability. As fitted to our own bikes.

BMW R2v EBC floating brake disc

These EBC Pro-lite replacement discs (front or rear) offer higher (18% extra) braking power over stainless steel discs.

The fully floating design reduces un-sprung weight, eliminates rotor distortion and extends pad life. EBC discs have been designed to be used with matching new EBC brake pads and these must be used or the warranty will be invalidated.

MegaCone exhaust silencers - pair

Pair of high quality chrome steel reverse cone short megaphone silencers. It will accept header manifolds of 45 to 38mm by using the supplied adaptive collars. Slightly longer than the other Mega silencers, total lenght of 19" (483mm).

Not as loud as the MegaTons and non-repackable. Complete with a universal adjustable bracket.

These are among the easiest universal silencers to fit on the BMW R2v twinshock /5 to /7 Series. Also available per unit if you so require.
